We developed the Station Rotation System that move little dramatics through educational points within the classroom, to immerse in various drama/theater, literacy and self-exploration modules.
Here are a few examples within our Station Rotation System:
Station Circle Time = Some of our Learning Modules include: Welcome Everyone, Brainstorm! – Group Discussion, Mr. Postman
Station Mystery Box = Some of our Learning Modules include: What’s in the Mystery Box?, Puppets & Props, Shadow Play
Station Dramatization = Some of our Learning Modules: Emotion-in-Motion, Speak-up!, Dialogue/Monologue
+ Other Stations + Other Learning Modules
There are opportunities for children to share their voices, actions, ideas and opinions; boosting their social confidence, social skills and etiquette while exploring important life values and virtues of caring/sharing, kindness, consideration and acceptance of others.
+ learning how to be polite to others, being considerate and practicing good manners.
We create many of our own props and learning tools to include costumes and puppets. In addition, we develop and produce our own songs and music for use in our classes and during our plays/musicals.
You may find them on our Youtube Channel, new songs are developed every term – so each time is a new experience! (Stage for Kids International)
Art Masters Appreciation: Art Program
A well-rounded child is one exposed to the modern world, and some knowledge of the appropriate past – with Art Masters Appreciation, we take a trip in time to the past, immerse ourselves in the present and jump forward into the future – exploring art in its finest, learning from Art Masters like Picasso, Monet, Frida, Pollock, Cassatt and Warhol.
In addition to learning about Artists; our art curriculum also includes Social-Environmental themes. Some of them are World Cultures, Reduce, Reuse & Recycle and Saving Our Oceans!
Little Art Masters immerse in lessons that is a fusion of the following objectives: the Master Fundamentals (theories, ideas, knowledge to include Art Masters Story-time), the Self-Skills (introduction and practise of various skills including your child’s fine/gross motor skills) and Craft Projects (mini projects to boost the Master Fundamentals and the large scale projects to reflect the Scaffolding-based learning and skills that children have learned in time).
We highly believe that understanding history, stories and background of art and its components, including knowing the lives and loves of various artists is important. This is one of the reasons we have story time and literacy in our Art Masters Appreciation.
There is a story behind every piece of art; and when children know that, they are more able to express themselves honestly, creatively and lovingly.
The Power Little Chefs program is a culinary adventure for children ages between 5 years old to 7 years old.
This unique program encourages children to participate as individuals, and in groups in various easy-to-make recipes, and introduces various kitchen tools and a plethora of ingredients to whet their educational experiences!
They will be able to create their own age appropriate masterpieces with friends and teachers (and parents/helpers for the accompanied sessions), to be eaten in school or taken home.
On top of the culinary activities, children get to actively participate in song, games and all other activities to ensure the goals and targets of each session are achieved holistically.
Notes for Little Chefs Sessions:
(a) In each session, children embark on a culinary adventure according to the recipe of the day.
(b) Healthy and clean habits are encouraged, and requested i.e cleaning hands, ensuring clean utensils and crockery, keeping areas clean, disposing of unused/unwanted ingredients, etc
