A Legacy in Motion: From 24 Years of Teaching to a Lifetime of Giving
After 24 years of teaching and inspiring, we need to enter a New Chapter for the Children of Singapore & the rest of South East Asia. Picture the Magic of Teacher Emil and Stage for Kids Inspiring Children All Over – We Can Make That Happen, but We Want Your Help.
For over two decades, the heartbeat of Stage for Kids Global (SFKG) has been simple: Inspiration through drama, art, and character development programs. But today, that heartbeat is evolving into something deeper, more purposeful, and more permanent.
A Journey of Radical Independence
For 24 years, Stage for Kids—founded and led by Teacher Emil—has stood as a testament to self-reliance. We have operated with a “zero-debt” philosophy: no loans, no debts, and owing no one. Every cent that came in was dedicated to one mission: keeping our programs, events, and educational outreach affordable and reachable for all. We chose to pour our resources back into the children rather than building a corporate safety net.
Strangely, we have realized that this very independence has become our greatest challenge. In a world that has shifted, our self-reliance is now an obstruction to our continuation. We are at a crossroads, and to keep the dream alive, we must change how we fly.
A Message from Teacher Emil
My life’s work has never been just about “running a business.” It is a mission to elevate every “little person” I encounter. My personal values are the engine of this mission; to leave a space better than when I first entered and to cultivate in the hearts and minds of children that they can be brave, be kind, and able to share their voices.
Teaching and developing young people is my passion, love, and life. This is why, this time of struggle is the opportunity to rise up and transition into a charity where our work – my work – continue to elevate children and their carers – families and educators – and instill important values, soft skills, and inspiration to reach beyond the stars. If I can do it, they can too.
This is where I need you. Your contribution = every dollar counts. Join our legacy. We have extended our deadline to strive to achieve our goals.
Thank you, and stay awesome.
With hope, faith, and gratitude,
Teacher Emil Antoan

Our Roadmap: The Global Fundraising Goal
We need your help – alumni, supporters, families whom we have affected and the children we have taught through the years, peers and partners old and current, the people in the community whom we call friends, and those we have helped through the years, even the friends of friends who contacted each other to support us, strangers whom we want to get to know, and the global community – to cross the finish line. Once we achieve our global fundraising target, we will:
Cover our “reds” and fulfill the remainder of our classroom contracts. In addition: Offering up our space to young arts groups and running free classes and camps.
Formalize our transition to official Charity Status. Begin our application to ACRA (status: Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG). Next to submit application to Commissioner of Charities (COC). We have registered the Not-for-Profit legal name: Stage for Kids Intercontinental Limited. Below is our organization name registration approval.

Perform “The Lion and the Mouse”: An event ONLY for those who support us, and are in our Supporters’ List. This is our show of gratitude for your trust, faith, and community. You are our community. This event is being worked on for the Feb 27 period.
The Seed Mission
To make this dream a reality, we must build a stable foundation. At our first fundraiser done between Apr to June 26, we managed to raise 10% of the fundraising goals. That helped cover certain fees and gave us some time to organize a little more, and then finalize ans register the new organization name. For our second, and final try, we have set a 14-day window to raise the funds we need.
We’re reaching out to our supporters to help us achieve this.
Your support funds this roadmap:
The Foundation: FULL Legal transition and restructuring into a non-profit entity.
The Rebirth: Preparing our educators for our new regional mission in Singapore and South East Asia.
The Launch: Establishing free weekend Open Art Spaces and Arts Education Camps
Be a part of our legacy, join our Supporters’ List.

“For 24 years, I have given children a stage. Today, I am asking you to help me bring that stage to the world’s most vulnerable hearts.
We have so much more to give to the world with what we do; and the best way forward now is to leave the commercial side of things and step into the charity with cause and goals. As a charity, we are able to receive funding the correct, formal ways – so we can focus on our programs for the different segments of communities in Singapore and in the region.
I am calling upon my community, my family of different kinds. Think of this; of all of your contributions to society and those in need – which ones will go furthest? Which will touch more lives? Our goal does not end at one gig or situation – our charity keeps going, and doing, and continue to do and will work to reach out to more. Our goal is continuous. So why not be a part of a legacy that keeps going, and giving? Let’s make the world a better place, one little person at a time.”
