Junior Sales Experience

Junior Sales Experience (JSE)

The Junior Sales Experience (JSE) gives young entrepreneurs a real-world opportunity to sell their products through Stage for Kids Global’s sales channels and the quarterly event, FleaMartkeforKids by SFKG. The JSE is part of the Junior Entrepreneur Enrichment Program (JEEP); introducing and teaching children the basics of business, with subjects including product presentation, pricing, customer service, order fulfillment and basic commerce skills by placing their products where real customers can discover and buy them.

Participants in the JSE get to keep their sales profits (minus any applicable fees); Stage for Kids Global will provide transparent fee and payout information before each sales period.

JSE participants can choose one of the four sales channels operated by Stage for Kids Global, upon successful completion of the JEEP:

  • App Sales Experience (S.E.A only)
    • List products in the Shopee App Story in the Stage for Kids Global Seller Store.
    • Gain exposure to a major mobile marketplace and learn about digital product presentation, app-driven customer behaviour, and order management.
    • Participants receive sales revenue from orders placed through the app, after platform and transaction fees are applied and disclosed in advance.
  • Online Store Sales Experience (Global)
    • Sell through Shop.StageforKids.com, Stage for Kids Global’s online store.
    • Customers can place orders for delivery or pickup at Studio 77, allowing participants to practise order processing, packaging, and fulfillment logistics.
    • Sales income is reconciled and paid out to participants, net of any applicable store or delivery fees.
  • Studio 77 Bookstore+ (Singapore only)
    • Display and sell products in Stage for Kids Global’s physical store: Bookstore+ @ 77 Indus Road.
    • Receive in-person retail experience: merchandising, customer interaction, and point-of-sale handling.
    • Sales revenue is reconciled and paid out to participants, net of any applicable in-store fees or commissions; participants are responsible for coordinating delivery of inventory to the store and complying with any in-store display guidelines and operating hours.
  • FleaMarketforKids by SFKG (Quarterly pop-up — Singapore)
    • Held three times a year: March (Springtime), June (Summer Market), and December (Winter Market).
    • A dedicated pop-up flea market where children and their parents open and operate their own stalls.
    • Stall inventory must include products made in the Junior Entrepreneur Enrichment Program (compulsory); participants may also sell their own additional products.
    • Offers hands-on experience in stall setup, live selling, cashless and cash transactions, customer interaction, pricing, and on-the-spot merchandising.
    • Sales revenue from FleaMarketforKids all goes to the participants and their families; SFKG will not claim fees or interests. ***
